Situated in the heart of the Cango Valley near Oudtshoorn, Die Fonteine features elegant, air conditioned rooms with a patio overlooking the Schoemanshoek Valley and the Swartberg Mountain Range.

Die Fonteine boasts rustic furniture and a sitting area with complimentary tea/coffee facilities and sherry.

Our modern, en suite bathrooms have victorian bathtubs and walk-in showers.

A scrumptious South African breakfast is served daily in our breakfast room.

The owner can help organise trips to the Karusa Winery (200 metres away), where guests can enjoy wine tasting with a cheese platter.

It is also possible to order a picnic basket for a trip to the Rust and Vrede Waterfall (15 km).

The famous Swartberg Pass is only 15 km from the guest house, the Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch are less than a 10-minute drive away.
